West Brom could now be less likely to keep hold of Okay Yokuslu after Aston Villa sign Jaden Philogene from Hull City, according to Ty Bracey.
The Villans confirmed the signing of the England youth international from the Tigers on 19 July in a deal worth £13.5million .
And it seems like the Yorkshire side could use the transfer funds from selling Philogene back to Villa to sign Turkiye midfielder Yokuslu from the Baggies .
Villa podcaster Bracey has suggested that the signing of Philogene may have started a domino effect to damage West Brom in the transfer market.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bardell said: “Yeah of course it’s good.
“You could say that West Brom will be smart with the money and put it straight back into the club.
“It is nice to see rivals have their best players taken away from them. I’m all for it, it’s a nice jibe to see their best players go.
“They haven’t got a bad recruitment team so they could invest wisely.
“It’ll be a kick in the teeth for West Brom but will put a smile on Villa fans’ faces.
Aston Villa Jaden Philogene deal hampers West Brom
The Villans completed the signing of the winger, just 12 months after selling him in a surprise transfer to Hull after a positive preseason under Unai Emery.
Now he has returned, he will be hopeful of featuring regularly in the Premier League and Champions League next season.
This has certainly been helped by the potential departure of Moussa Diaby who looks set to leave for Saudi Arabia this summer.
That deal is a frustrating one for Villa fans but they have certainly been left excited by Philogene returning.
This has only been made better, for some fans, by the idea that it could negatively affect their local rivals moving forward in the transfer market.
