Chelsea have just beaten Club America 3-0 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta to give the Blues their first victory of the pre-season. Christopher Nkunku, an own goal and Noni Madueke ensured it was a comfortable evening for the west Londoners.

After a draw with Wrexham and a defeat to Celtic, Chelsea finally have a win. Albeit it is an unofficial one but it will give Maresca and the players confidence.

Maresca is set to face the press any minute now in Atlanta and is expected to be asked questions on a variety of topics. Also, we may well hear from the Chelsea head coach on the latest on the future of midfielder Conor Gallagher.
