The latest news from Liverpool and their rivals as Man Utd suffer a double injury blow - with new signing Leny Yoro and Rasmus Hojlund ruled out for several weeks.

Liverpool's next opponents Manchester United have been dealt a double injury blow before their impending USA showdown on Sunday morning (UK time). The two Premier League rivals are ready to go toe-to-toe at the William Brice Stadium in Columbia after taking on Arsenal and Real Betis respectively overnight.
However, two important players for United - Leny Yoro and Rasmus Hojlund - will not feature in that match. Both men were forced off for Erik ten Hag's side against Arsenal last Sunday morning (UK time).
Waiting a little while to discover the extent of those injuries, Yoro is expected to be absent for three months with his foot problem. Hojlund (muscular) will be side-lined for around six weeks.

Having been tentatively linked with a move to Anfield this summer, Yoro was signed by United from Lille, for a fee potentially rising to £59.7million. He made his debut in a pre-season friendly win over Rangers and started yet again vs Arsenal before a foot injury cut short his involvement at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
United had to replace Yoro and Hojlund in double quick time in their first game on tour. Hojlund was on-target for United before his withdrawal and Ten Hag's other main striker - summer signing Joshua Zirkzee - was not included in their touring party and so will not feature against The Reds, either.
In Yoro's absence, Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire started at centre-back for United against Real Betis overnight. Amad, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford were deployed in attacking quarters.
