Manchester United star Christian Eriksen has shown a loyalty to the club this summer amid questions over his own future.
Amid limited game time last season, many expected Christian Eriksen to pursue a Manchester United exit.
In a recent interview, Eriksen express his desire to stay, even with United setting a low asking price for a potential sale.
Eriksen is keen on seeing out the one remaining year on his Manchester United contract.
His loyalty is also represented in other ways, by referencing a former teammate in a light-hearted interview.

Christian Eriksen’s ‘ultimate baller’
As a light-hearted exercise during Manchester United’s pre-season tour, Christian Eriksen was asked by Goal to create his ‘ultimate baller’.
His responses picked some of the world’s best players, and a surprise mention for his former Tottenham teammate Victor Wanyama.

Here is a summary of Eriksen’s responses…
- Right foot: David Beckham
- Left foot: Lionel Messi
- Speed: Kylian Mbappe
- Strength: Victor Wanyama
- Skill: Neymar
- Passing: Kevin de Bruyne
- Football IQ: Luka Modric
There are some clever choices in there from Eriksen, we like the right-foot selection of Manchester United legend David Beckham.
We strongly disagree with the Kevin de Bruyne pick, however. Eriksen missed a superior option he currently plays with, Bruno Fernandes – and if you are picking Beckham, then Paul Scholes is really the right answer.
Where is Victor Wanyama now
Eriksen played alongside Victor Wanyama during his time at Tottenham Hotspur.
The defensive midfielder left Tottenham in 2020 to sign with Major League Soccer side Montreal, and he has been there ever since, racking up more than 100 appearances.
The 33-year-old is a Kenya international with more than 60 caps for his country.
Wanyama previously played for both Celtic and Southampton. And last year he claimed he narrowly missed out on a move to Manchester United, which would have seen him bypass Eriksen’s Tottenham altogether.
He was quoted by Pulse Sports Kenya: “When I was at Celtic, I remember a breakthrough moment during a Champions League match against Barcelona.
“Sir Alex Ferguson came to watch that game. Afterward, the club president told me that Ferguson had come to watch me because I was also performing well in the league.
“Although we didn’t have a conversation, he did meet with the club president, who later informed me that they had talked with Fergie about the possibility of me joining Manchester United. However, I’m not sure what ultimately happened, as that was the year when Ferguson left the club.”
