Liverpool are reportedly set on signing an attacker this summer with a £25m transfer offer believed to be in the pipeline.
The Reds have made bringing in a forward a top priority in the transfer window, with Nico Williams one such player Liverpool have been linked with, as Arne Slot looks to add to the likes of Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz.
With Darragh MacAnthony suggesting that Mohamed Salah needs replacing, finding a long-term successor to the Egyptian international should be on the agenda for Liverpool this summer, with the forward heading into the final year of his current contract.
And it appears that Liverpool could soon make an offer to sign a replacement for Salah.

According to Fotomac, Liverpool are preparing an opening offer to sign Baris Alper Yilmaz, with the Reds expected to bid €30m (£25m) for the Galatasaray forward in the coming days.
As per the report, though, the Turkish giants wants as much as €35m (£30m) for their star forward, who last season impressed with seven goals and 12 assists in all competitions as Galatasaray won the Super Lig title with 102 points.
Noted as ‘special’ by former manager Selcuk Inan, Yilmaz could be exactly who Liverpool are looking for in their quest to find a long-term replacement for Salah, with the winger able to play both out on the left and on the right.

And with a bid in the pipeline, there might be some movement soon on Yilmaz moving to Anfield, where the attacker could take his career to the next level with the Premier League giants.

And this summer, Yilmaz could be the right man for the job for Liverpool in their quest to sign a long-term replacement for Salah, which ideally will be addressed this summer via the transfer market.
With Liverpool making moves to submit a bid, it might not be long before Yilmaz is heading to Anfield, where the forward could thrive under Slot and in the Premier League.
