The increase in speculation and reports of West Ham interest in left sided players- along with existing bids in the RB and CF department- would seem to bear out that the management duo of Steidten and Lopetegui have made up their mind regarding the future of one Hammers’ attacker.
Reports abound that The Irons are working through a list of ‘possible’ targets including Crysencio Summerville from Leeds, Jota Silva from Portuguese club Vitória Guimarães SC and right-footed Reiss Nelson from Arsenal. This suggests pretty clearly that patience has worn thin with one fringe player who’d hoped to relaunch his West Ham story after being frozen out by David Moyes.
Maxwell Cornet had found game time impossible to come by after a falling out with the previous manager- largely over his skipping the country to have a calf knock treated overseas and taking seemingly forever to get fit: Cornet did come with something of a reputation from Burnley as unwilling to play even through the tiniest of knocks.
