Napoli director Giovanni Manna has hinted that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia could leave the club after confirming "there will be movements" during the remainder of the summer transfer window.

Kvaratskhelia has been linked with a move to the Reds after an impressive Euro 2024 campaign with Georgia, helping them reach the Round of 16 before bowing out following a 4-1 loss to Spain. The 23-year-old scored the opening goal during their historic 2-0 victory over Portugal in the final group match.

Last week, Corriere dello Sport reported that Kvaratskhelia has decided to commit his future to the Serie A club and is willing to sign a new long-term contract. New Napoli boss Antonio Conte has made it clear that Kvaratskhelia is a key part of the project at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

However, Manna has now dropped a hint that Napoli could be willing to sell players - such as Kvaratskhelia - this summer. Speaking to reporters, as quoted by TeamTalk, Manna, said: "We aimed to provide the coach with a competitive team from the first days of training camp to immediately tackle the championship.

"There will be movements, as there is still a month of the market left, and we might make some additions. This is a process, a project starting this year with the coach at its centre.

"We share a strategy with the club, and we are calm and clear-headed. We will not make any reckless moves but will make decisions that support our technical and tactical ideas."

Kvaratskhelia, who has scored 25 goals and added 26 assists in 88 games for Napoli since joining the club in 2022, last addressed his future after scoring for Georgia against Portugal at Euro 2024.

He said on June 26: "I respect Conte, he’s one of the best managers. I respect also Napoli, I love Napoli. I will decide my future after the Euros. Now I’m focused on the game vs Spain."
