West Ham, Wolves and Atalanta are keen on securing the services of Lens centre-back Kevin Danso, according to Santi Aouna.

The Foot Mercato journalist took to X on 27 July to claim that Atalanta have accelerated their pursuit of the Euro 2024 defender in the last few years.

Several foreign clubs including the Hammers and Wolves are keen on signing the the 25-year-old Austria international.

Kevin Danso would be a solid addition to the West Ham side

Danso would be a valuable addition to the Hammers due to his impressive defensive abilities and despite the signing of Max Kilman, he is one they should bring in.

The 25-year-old Austrian international has been a standout performer for Lens in Ligue 1, showcasing his skills as a centre-back.

The Austrian’s strength, aerial prowess and ability to read the game make him an effective presence in the heart of the defence.

Furthermore, Danso’s experience in European competitions, including the UEFA Champions League, adds valuable depth to the Hammers squad as they aim to compete in domestic competitions and qualify for the continental ones.

His potential arrival would bolster the team’s defensive options and provide healthy competition for starting positions.

Danso would undoubtedly become a regular starter and strengthen the Hammers’ defence which was threadbare last season.
