Liverpool are reportedly back in for a player from Wolves, and a report has suggested that the Reds could even make a double swoop.
Gary O’Neil is currently overseeing his first pre-season as Wolves manager, and currently they are all out in the US for the second phase.
Wolves recently went to Marbella, and enjoyed a solid week of training in the blazing heat.
O’Neil remains without a few players though, with Pedro Neto, Nelson Semedo and Jose Sa all being given time to go on holiday after going to Euro 2024.
So, then, there is no opportunity at the moment for O’Neil to speak more personally to Neto about how he is feeling about potential interest from Liverpool.

It has been reported this evening by Give Me Sport that Liverpool are now back in the hunt for Pedro Neto.
At the start of June, it was claimed by journalist Ben Jacobs that Liverpool were being put off by Wolves’ £60 million valuation of the player, and also his injury record.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
But it is now being suggested by GMS that the Reds are back in for Neto. Liverpool are said to have been in touch with Neto’s representatives and Wolves about a potential move.
Jorge Mendes is expected to push for a move for his client.
Should Liverpool be successful with an approach, then Neto – dubbed ‘outstanding’ by Wolves legend John Richards last season – would link back up with his former Wolves teammate Diogo Jota, who completed a £45 million move to Anfield four years ago.
GMS add that Liverpool are also debating a move for Rayan Ait-Nouri, but it’s Neto they are most keen on.
Liverpool can surely forget signing both
So Liverpool may now be back in for Neto, and the possibility of a double swoop has also been floated.
One would imagine that Wolves are not going to be very receptive to losing both players to Liverpool.
The club are not under pressure to sell now, especially after the £40 million sale of Max Kilman recently. Despite the captain departing, there has still been an expectation that Neto could go too.
But Wolves would surely not let Ait-Nouri leave in addition to those two. But it sounds as though Neto is the man Liverpool really wants anyway.
Wolves should try and stick to their £60 million asking price.
There are several top clubs looking at Neto right now, and the level of interest could soon see that asking price be met.
