Nottingham Forest took a fancy to Caoimhin Kelleher during the summer transfer window, and now they’ve been told Liverpool’s new price tag for the goalkeeper.
Nottingham Forest were busy in the summer transfer window when it came to their search for a goalkeeper, which resulted in Carlos Miguel rocking up at the City Ground.
The South American has made just one appearance for the Reds so far this season, coming against Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup.
Interestingly, Forest made a bid for Caoimhin Kelleher during the summer transfer window in the hope of luring him away from Liverpool.
It ended up being rejected, but Kelleher came out after the window slammed shut and said how he was disappointed he couldn’t secure a move away.
Now, the Reds have named a slightly higher price for the goalkeeper ahead of January.

New price tag learned for Caoimhin Kelleher after summer interest from Nottingham Forest
Kelleher hasn’t had a huge amount of opportunities, but whenever he’s been called upon he’s always played his part for Liverpool.
He’s now set to get the opportunity to prove himself at Liverpool with Alisson Becker out injured.

Although, Alex Crooks believes that Kelleher sees this as the opportunity to put himself into the shop window rather than to stay at Anfield.
Writing in his column for TalkSPORT, Crook also revealed that Liverpool want £30 million for him.
It’s stated that Kelleher remains committed to being a no.1.
And while Liverpool realise the 25-year-old’s potential, they are also respectful of his personal ambitions, but have placed a £30 million price tag on his head.
The goalkeeper was valued at £25 million in the summer (James Pearce), so there’s been a slight increase.
Matz Sels season to date at Nottingham Forest
Matz Sels has been one of the surprises of the season so far for Nottingham Forest, with one of his best performances in a Forest shirt coming last time out against Chelsea.
Ally McCoist was also amazed by the performance of Sels, as he called him ‘excellent’ for the shots he saved against Chelsea.
However, Sels has had to withdraw from the Belgium squad after picking up an injury.
It remains to be seen as to whether Nottingham Forest would sign Kelleher after bringing in Miguel in the summer, but it’s clear they really wanted him.
