Liverpool have been handed a mixed fitness update on Alexis Mac Allister. The Argentina international was forced off at half-time of the Premier League win at Crystal Palace on Saturday after complaining of discomfort in the thigh area.
Mac Allister declared immediately after the game that the injury was "nothing that will stop me" and subsequently joined up with his national team in Miami.
However, the midfielder has thus far been unable to train fully with the Argentina squad with reports in his homeland having now stated he will not play any part in the World Cup qualifier in Venezuela on Thursday evening.
