Three key Liverpool players are coming to the end of their deals next summer, which has been the topic of debate in recent months. Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk are all out of contract at the end of the season and will be able to negotiate with clubs abroad from January 1.
The trio have played a significant part at the club and at different stages of their careers. The prospect of potentially seeing them leave Anfield is worrying to the Reds' fanbase.
Captain Van Dijk was the first player to go public over his situation, saying in August that there had been 'no change' to his contract situation. Salah then revealed in September after scoring in the 3-0 win over Manchester United that the club were yet to open talks over a new deal.

It's not up to me, but nobody has talked to me about a contract with the club. We'll see."
As for Alexander-Arnold, he has always remained tight-lipped over his long-term future but stated his desire to remain at Liverpool this season. "I have always said I want to captain the club; that is an aim of mine and a goal of mine, (but) whether that happens is out of my hands," Alexander-Arnold said back in September.
"Look, I have been at the club 20 years now. I have signed four or five contract extensions, and none of those have been played out in public. And this one won’t be either. I want to be a Liverpool player this season (as a minimum), is what I will say."
Van Dijk and Salah are both in their 30s and among the club's highest earners. With that said, the delay in negotiating new contracts could be justified.
However, this is a subject that concerns the majority of the Reds fanbase. 43 per cent believe the situation is a 'bit worrying' while 31 per cent say they are 'very concerned.'
Meanwhile, 22 per cent have voted for 'it's natural' and they are 'not concerned.' Four per cent believe the players are at fault.
