Murillo has already established himself as a fan favourite at Nottingham Forest, and he’s now put out a message after the draw with Chelsea.

Nottingham Forest earned a hard-fought point against Chelsea last time out in the Premier League, as Chris Wood’s goal was cancelled out.

James Ward-Prowse’s red card certainly didn’t help as it put the Reds on the back foot, though he didn’t have much choice in stopping a dangerous attack.

However, Forest’s defence stood firm with Nikola Milenkovic and Murillo playing a big part in that

Nuno Espirito Santo will be delighted with how his defenders have performed so far this season, with Forest having one of the best defensive records in the Premier League right now.

Murillo was pretty happy with how things went at Chelsea, as he took to Instagram.

Murillo made a couple of errors against Chelsea but made up for them in the second half in what was a respectable display from the Brazilian.

He made five clearances, one interception, one tackle, won three duels, had 46 touches, a passing accuracy of 70%, almost scored a brilliant goal and one key pass.

After the game, Murillo took to Instagram with a message to Nottingham Forest fans.

Murillo joining Nottingham Forest for around £15 million could go down as one of the best bits of business that the club have ever completed.

A monster defensively, Murillo made a staggering 15 clearances against Brighton this season, which was a first in the Premier League.

Interestingly, Kris Boyd has already described Murillo him as the best defender at Nottingham Forest, despite him being given a run for his money by Nikola Milenkovic.

And, Ian Wright joined the praise party by stating that Murillo is his favourite player to watch in the Premier League after his performances this season.
