Leicester City fans can relax a little more over the international break after Steve Cooper guided the club to a first Premier League win against AFC Bournemouth.
Steve Cooper has his work cut out to win over the Leicester City fanbase given his previous links to rivals Nottingham Forest and winning football matches will certainly help with that.
Facundo Buonanotte continued his fine start to life on loan at Leicester with a venomous strike to secure the three points against Bournemouth before earning a surprise call-up to the Argentina national side.
However, it has not worked out for all of Cooper’s nine summer signings so far and here are three Leicester players who have simply not been good enough this season.
Bilal El Khannouss yet to make an impact at Leicester City
The first player is the one Leicester supporters were most excited for in Moroccan attacking midfielder Bilal El Khannouss.
The Foxes forked out £21 million to sign El Khannous from Genk but he has so far looked miles off the pace of the Premier League.

Whilst he was expected to need time to adapt to his new environment, the 20-year-old is yet to show the creative flair Leicester were hoping for and they really need El Khannouss to get up to speed as soon as possible.
The next three games are massive for Cooper and he will hope El Khannouss can start to have an impact to help Leicester get more points on the board.
Jordan Ayew disappointing since Leicester arrival
Jordan Ayew is another player who was brought in to help Leicester in the final third but has done little in that regard thus far.
Leicester paid £8 million to sign Ayew from Crystal Palace, with many seeing this an overpaying for the 33-year-old.
Ayew has bags of Premier League experience having played 281 games in the competition, but has scored just 37 goals in that time which shows just how uninspiring a signing it was.
So far, Ayew’s only goal contributions have been a goal and assist against Tranmere Rovers in the Carabao Cup and Cooper needs far more from the Ghanaian.
Bobby De Cordova-Reid at risk of being Leicester flop
Whilst £8 million for Ayew was seen as too much, the free agent arrival of Bobby De Cordova-Reid was generally viewed as astute business this summer.
The 31-year-old is another experienced Premier League player having played six seasons at Fulham in the top flight, but has really struggled to make his mark at Leicester so far.
The Jamaican started the first two games of the campaign but has not been in the starting XI since in the league and is at real risk of being labelled a flop.
The season is still young, but El Khannouss, Ayew and De Cordova-Reid have their work cut out to kickstart their Leicester careers.
