What will the future hold for Erik ten Hag? That's the question on everyone's lips and one that Manchester United fanbase have given their verdict on.

The United hierarchy have reportedly scheduled an urgent meeting in London on Tuesday and a decision could soon be made public - just 48 hours after the stalemate with Aston Villa. Ten Hag remains under pressure at Old Trafford after a drab start to the season, leaving them 14th in the table during the October international break.

Last Thursday, it looked like United would get their first win in the Europa League against FC Porto when they went two goals up. However, they later had to settle for a 3-3 draw with only 10 men as the Portuguese giants turned the game around. Harry Maguire rescued a late point by heading in from a corner.

There were no signs of improvements at Villa however, despite Marcus Rashford testing Emiliano Martinez a couple of times and Bruno Fernandes hitting the crossbar. In the stands, owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe was accompanied by Ineos head of sport Sir Dave Brailsford and CEO Omar Berrada.

Although United didn't lose the game, discussions will take place this week. The Mirror reported the meeting will take place at the club's Kensington offices with Joel Glazer expected to attend after flying in from the USA.

It's not clear whether the future of Ten Hag is on the agenda for that meeting, but Ten Hag is yet to prove keeping him at the helm was the right decision from the owners. But on the pitch, the players are yet to show any signs of improvement since the Dutchman was backed by the board in the summer.

Ten Hag was handed a contract extension in July and was backed with a new set of coaches and recruitment.

While fans have remained patient until now, a staggering 67 per cent of the fanbase - as per the survey - expect Ineos to sack the 54-year-old during the international break. Only 33 per cent have said 'no' and expect Ten Hag to remain the United boss.
