Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds has sent Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah a cheeky transfer message to "think about" making a move to League One side Wrexham. Reynolds became joint owner of the North Wales club alongside American actor Rob McElhenney in November 2020, since when they have earned two promotions to reach the third tier of English football.
As part of the promotion for his upcoming movie Deadpool & Wolverine, he was interviewed by the Premier League alongside co-star Hugh Jackman, who is a long-time Norwich City fan.
Jackman was asked about a comparison between himself as an actor and Salah as a footballer and began extolling the virtues of the Reds' record-breaking Egyptian when he was interrupted by Reynolds.

"Ryan Reynolds, co-chairman of Wrexham FC," he said. "Mo, you would be warmly embraced at the Racecourse Ground in North Wales."
Jackman interjected: "You wouldn't get a full 90 minutes but probably like 20 minutes every game."
Which prompted a response from Reynolds: "All we need is five. Think about it!"
Salah, who has been at Liverpool for more than seven years, has entered the last 12 months of his current contract with the Reds. The last player to move from Anfield to the Racecourse Ground? Barry Jones, who made one appearance for Liverpool before moving to North Wales in 1992.
