Steve Cooper got his first Premier League win as Leicester City manager at the seventh attempt as the Foxes beat AFC Bournemouth 1-0 on Saturday.
Facundo Buonanotte scored the only goal of the game before receiving a surprise call-up to the senior Argentina national team this international break.
That win also sees Leicester City 15th in the league ahead of a very winnable three games against Southampton, Nottingham Forest and Ipswich Town.
Three points and a clean sheet have helped relieve some of the pressure that was mounting on Steve Cooper, especially given how often clubs decide to change manager in international breaks.
There were a number of good performances against Bournemouth and Oliver Skipp has identified one teammate who deserved to be on the winning side.

Oliver Skipp makes Mads Hermansen Leicester City win claim
Cooper was very keen to secure the services of Skipp this summer and eyebrows were raised when Leicester agreed to pay up to £25 million for the midfielder.

It was Skipp who partnered Wilfred Ndidi in the Leicester midfield against Bournemouth, with Harry Winks surprisingly dropping out of the side and Jordan Ayew playing in an attacking midfield role.
Skipp put in a solid display but told Leicester’s media team post-match that he felt goalkeeper Mads Hermansen deserved the win and clean sheet for his heroics despite conceding four at Arsenal a week earlier.
Skipp said: “I think Mads deserved that after last week and the defenders were brilliant, especially defending the box superbly all game and the whole team.
“We knew how vital the defenders would be. It’s a collective effort when you get that clean sheet, so we’re happy with that.”
Leicester City can build on Bournemouth win

A first league win of the season has seen a very heavy weight lifted off of Cooper’s shoulders and the fact they are 15th means it can be considered a relatively good start on paper.
The next three games will tell us much more about Leicester’s survival chances, but currently Cooper is doing the job he was brought in for.
Leicester fans may still be slightly sceptical about the Welshman but he has the unenviable task of steadying the ship after the exits of Enzo Maresca and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall this summer.
Perhaps he could be a little more ambitious at times, but ultimately Cooper will have done a very good job if he keeps Leicester in the Premier League this season.
