Football Insider provide an update on the future of Tyler Dibling, with the outlet suggesting that Tottenham might have some competition to deal with in their quest to sign the Southampton starlet.

All eyes on Dibling

Dibling has not looked back since making his Southampton debut against West Ham earlier in the season, with the winger establishing himself in the starting eleven.

The 18-year-old has been one of the only bright spots in what has been a disastrous start to the campaign for Russel Martin’s side.

It was reported by GiveMeSport two weeks ago that the teenager has been scouted by Spurs, who are now plotting a potential move for the attacker.

A lot of clubs in the race

Football Insider have now reported that while Spurs and Man Utd were previously watching Dibling, the youngster has now also caught the attention of a lot of other sides in the Premier League.

It is explained that many clubs expect the Saints to go straight back down to the Championship and thus believe that they would have a chance to swoop for the winger.

The report suggests that if the Southampton academy graduate continues shining, there could be a major scramble for his signature in 2025.

Southampton’s belief

The outlet points out that Dibling’s current deal at the St Mary’s runs out in 2027 and Southampton may struggle to keep holder of the player if bigger clubs come knocking.

The publication adds that the belief at the South Coast club is that they need to tie the youngster to a new contract if they want to secure his future.
