Sean Dyche has had no contract talks with Everton over a potential new contract, sources have told Football Insider.
The 53-year-old’s current deal at Goodison Park expires at the end of next summer, but he is currently under pressure at the club due to their difficult start to the season.
Everton are in the process of being taken over by The Friedkin Group, who have agreed to purchase Farhad Moshiri’s 94% stake in the club.
Sources have told Football Insider that the ongoing takeover is the reason for the lack of contract talks with Dyche.
The experienced manager is said to be “well aware” of the situation going on at Everton regarding his personal future and the speculation surrounding potential new managers who could replace him.
Various managers such as Graham Potter, David Moyes, and Jose Mourinho have been linked to the Everton position.
