Everton have launched an advertisement as they’re looking to hire a performance analyst for the men’s first team.

The club are eyeing a talented and confident candidate as they view this as an “integral” appointment at Finch Farm.

Despite an impending takeover, the club plan to narrow in on the ideal candidate before the end of October.

The advert reads: “We are looking for a talented and confident performance analyst who has the knowledge and skill to play an integral role in our Men’s First Team Performance Analysis Department.

“You will be confident in communicating with all stakeholders as you will be leading the development and implementation of business intelligence and analytics strategies and really proving why data is important to a football club like ours. ”

Everton must hire the ideal candidate for first-team analysis

Given the club’s less-than-ideal displays in the Premier League over the past few seasons and the transition to a new stadium, maintaining and enhancing team performance is crucial.

A performance analyst will not only aid in refining player performance through detailed analysis of games, training sessions and opposition tactics but also ensure the coaching staff’s alignment with the club’s tactical philosophy.

This position is instrumental in Everton’s quest to compete at the highest levels by leveraging modern analytics to inform training regimes, match strategies and player development.

The analyst’s responsibilities in opposition analysis, set-piece strategies and training evaluation directly impact on-field outcomes, making this hire essential for the Toffees to translate their vision into tangible success on the pitch.

It’s likely that Sean Dyche will have asked the club to look for ideal candidates as it’s someone who would be working with him.

Hopefully, this can help revolutionise the way the first team plays and can bring more success to the club in the coming years.

In other Everton news, Alan Myers has claimed that the Toffees have agreed a deal in principle for a new free agent signing.
