West Ham want to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United

Manchester United will have to sell West Ham United target Aaron Wan-Bissaka before signing Noussair Mazraoui, according to the Daily Mirror.
The newspaper reported on its website on Tuesday (23 July) that to fund a move for the Bayern Munich defender and remain within profit and sustainability regulations the Red Devils will have to sell Wan-Bissaka.
Julen Lopetegui’s side are known admirers of the Englishman but are only willing to spend £15million to bring him to the London Stadium to bolster their backline this summer.
Reports have suggested the Hammers are also keen on signing Mazraoui but Manchester United now seem confident of reaching an agreement with Bayern for a fee of around £18million.
Will Aaron Wan-Bissaka exit Manchester United amid West Ham transfer speculation?
The transfer dominoes could be falling into place for West Ham and Lopetegui as the transfer window really begins to kick into gear ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
In a strange way, the Hammers missing out on one of their targets in Mazraoui may well open the door for them to sign a different player on their shortlist in Wan-Bissaka if United sanction his exit this summer.
Both players would be excellent additions to the Irons backline and offer something completely different to the defensive options already available to Lopetegui, while also providing some much-needed competition for Vladimir Coufal.

This entire situation just feels like a win-win for everyone involved at the London Stadium. West Ham will either get a Premier League proven right-back who cost £50million a few years ago for around £15million, or a Bayern Munich defender for less than £20million.
Hopefully, no late stumbling blocks emerge to throw either of these deals into any sort of doubt as it would be a massive blow to the Irons when a deal seems this doable.
