There were plenty of good moments for our Socceroos abroad this weekend, as many vied for places ahead of the October FIFA Men's International Window.
Harry Souttar continued his superb form at the back for Sheffield United, while Apostolos Stamatelopoulos opened his account for Motherwell.

In the EFL Championship, Harry Souttar (cap #606) contributed to another clean sheet as Sheffield United beat Luton Town 2-0 on Sunday morning. The defender has not conceded a goal while playing for United since early September, as the Blades sit level on points at the top of the English second tier. Souttar and Sheffield United have now gone 540 minutes of football without the opposition finding the back of their net.
Apostolos Stamatelopoulos’ (cap #644) Motherwell beat Hibernian 2-1 in a drama-filled Scottish Premiership clash on Sunday. The striker opened the scoring with a stunning finish after a well-worked free-kick in the second half, before being replaced after 62 minutes. Lewis Miller (cap #635) played a full game for Hibs, while Olyroo Nectarios Triantis was sent off for the side.

In Belgium’s First Division A, Jordan Bos (cap #632) played all of Westerlo’s 2-2 draw with Beerschot on Saturday morning.
Also in the competition, Aiden O’Neil (cap #629) played a full game for Standard Liege as they lost 3-0 to Anderlecht on Sunday night.
In the Danish Superligaen, Paul Izzo started Randers’ 1-1 draw against Lyngby on Sunday night, while Mohamed Toure (cap #636) played from the 70th minute for the team.
Ajdin Hrustic (cap #589) played from the hour mark for Salernitana in their 1-0 win against Palermo in Serie B.

In the Bundesliga, Jackson Irvine (cap #568) played all of St Pauli’s 3-0 loss to Mainz on Sunday morning. Connor Metcalfe (cap #611) missed the game, having picked up a leg injury that saw him withdraw from the Socceroos squad.
In J.League, Mitch Langerak (cap #566) was the goalkeeper for Nagoya Grampus’ 1-0 loss to Avispa Fukuoka on Friday night.
Also in the competition, Mitch Duke (cap #559) played the first half of Machida Zelvia’s 4-1 loss to Kawasaki on Saturday afternoon.
Finally, Thomas Deng (cap #598) came on in the 57th minute as Albirex Niigata lost 4-0 to Kashima Antlers, also on Saturday.
In Scotland’s top flight on Monday, Josh Nisbet (cap #642) played 76 minutes for Ross County in their 2-1 loss to Celtic. Ross County were 1-0 up as the midfielder left the pitch, however, they conceded two late goals to see the points slip away.
Also on Monday morning, Kye Rowles (cap #622) played a full game for Hearts with the side losing 3-2 to Aberdeen.
In Major League Soccer, Patrick Yazbek (cap #641) played 77 minutes for Nashville as they lost 3-1 to New York City on Monday morning.
In Croatia’s HNL, Fran Karicic (cap #607) helped keep a clean sheet in NK Lokomotiva’s 2-0 win over HNK Gorica on Sunday morning. Playing at centre-back, Karicic made six clearances and two blocks as Lokomotiva earned three crucial points to move away from the foot of the table.
Ryan McGowan (cap #546) helped keep a clean sheet for Livingston as they drew 0-0 with Patrick Thistle on Sunday in the Scottish Championship. Livingston are currently three points off the top of the table.
In the Indian Super League, Jamie Maclaren (cap #584) scored his first goal for Mohun Bagan in his first start for the team as they won 3-0 against Mohammedan on Sunday. Dimitri Petratos (cap #593) came on in the 75th minute for Mohun.

Cameron Peupion opened the scoring in Brighton and Hove Albion’s 10-0 win over Crystal Palace in Premier League 2 on Sunday morning. Peupion also provided four assists during the rout.
Jacob Italiano played a full game for Grazer AK as they lost 2-1 to Austria Wien on Sunday in the Austrian Bundesliga.
Louis D’Arrigo came on in the 86th minute of Lechia Gdansk’s 2-1 loss to Stal Mielec in the Polish I Liga on Saturday night.
In Major League Soccer, Lachlan Brook played from the 86th minute for Real Salt Lake in their 1-0 victory over San Jose on Sunday afternoon.
