Nottingham Forest have named their team to play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League this afternoon.

The Reds are looking to get back towards positive results after a defeat to Fulham last weekend at the City Ground.

Forest have made a pretty decent start to the 2024/25 campaign, picking up nine points from six games so far.

Bizarrely, Forest have actually been better on the road than they have been on home soil.

Seven of the nine points collected this season have come away from the East Midlands and Nuno Espirito Santo will be keen to get a positive result today.

Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest – What’s the story?

There have been some highly entertaining games between Forest and Chelsea since the Reds returned to the top flight.

Last season, Forest lost 3-2 on Trentside in the final home match of 2023/24, despite having held a lead in the game.

MORE FOREST STORIES

The Reds did win at Stamford Bridge though and should instill some confidence ahead of today.

Forest are producing the goods away from home and Chelsea will be wary of the threat that Forest can carry today.

Espirito Santo will need to arrest an alarming run of home form but that can wait until after the international break.

All eyes are on the capital today and hopefully, it can be another performance to be proud of against Chelsea.
