West Ham United play hosts to Ipswich Town this Saturday who bring with them former Hammer Ben Johnson and infamous former loanee Kalvin Phillips. The Irons and Lopetegui will be desperate for the points: We’d love to see an attacking formation in an all-out effort to score some goals.

In answer to several questions – this is the line – up I think Lopetegui will go for, based on what we’ve heard from the club this week and has been signalled from various sources. It isn’t my choice, rather a forecast of our Head Coach’s selection:

Areola: I Emerson, Kilman, Todibo, Wan-Bissaka: I Alvarez, Soucek, Soler I Bowen, Antonio, Kudus

With Kudus playing on the left again because Lopetegui wants him to do as he’s told. Paquetá on the bench and replaced by Soler. Soucek playing in the number 10 role as per Lopetegui’s previous selections. As I say, not my choice but a best guess of what Lopetegui will produce. I’d be all for starting Kudus centrally and Summerville for Antonio (who’s clearly good for 20 minutes impact at the end if needed rather than 90 minutes in my opinion).
