Liverpool are being linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund star Karim Adeyemi. Reports from Germany are claiming that the Reds could look to sign Adeyemi as a potential long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah.
According to Sport Bild, Liverpool are looking at players who could be signed to replace Salah in the event that the Egypt international leaves Anfield at the end of the season. Salah's current contract is set to expire in 2025 and it remains to be seen if the 32-year-old will put pen to paper on an extension.
The report claims that Adeyemi has been identified by Liverpool as a potential transfer target for next year. It has been stated that the Reds have regularly sent scouts to watch the Germany international in action in the Bundesliga and have been impressed with what they have seen.

A deal reportedly worth €38 million (£32 million) was agreed between the two clubs with Adeyemi's contract at Signal Iduna Park until 2027.
The 22-year-old has impressed with Dortmund this season, scoring five goals with five assists in all competitions across eight appearances. Adeyemi has played on both wings this term for the Bundesliga club, although has been typically used on the left side of the forward line by manager Nuri Sahin.
Liverpool are already well-stocked with forwards who can play on the left wing. Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo have been Arne Slot's preferred options in the position, while Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota have been used on the left side of the forward line in their Anfield careers.
The summer transfer window saw Liverpool strengthen the depth of the right wing position with the arrival of Federico Chiesa from Juventus. The Italy international has made just three appearances since his £12.5 million move from Turin back in August.
