Tottenham Hotspur are said to have named their asking price to sell one of their key players in this window.
The mood around Spurs is magnificent right now. They have won all three of their pre-season friendlies so far and are heading to Japan full of confidence.
Tottenham have done a great job in the transfer market too. Timo Werner has arrived on another loan deal, while Archie Gray has been signed permanently.
The likes of Joe Rodon, Tanguy Ndombele, Japhet Ranganga, Ryan Sessegnon and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg have all been moved on.
Now, a journalist has suggested that Tottenham are ready to sell another player if their asking price is met.
Tottenham set price tag for Dejan Kulusevski
Dejan Kulusevski has been an important player for Tottenham since he joined the club in January 2022.
The Swede has played 96 games in all competitions for Spurs so far, 39 of which came in the 2023/24 season under Ange Postecoglou.
When the season ended, there wasn’t really any suggestion that Kulusevski could leave, but there has been a lot of speculation about his future recently.
Reports have claimed that Antonio Conte is keen to sign Kulusevski for Napoli. It has been reported that Aston Villa have also made a shock enquiry to sign Kulusevski.
Now, an Italian journalist has had his say on Tottenham’s demands.
Valter Di Maggio has revealed on the Radiogoal show on Kiss Kiss Napoli that Conte’s side are indeed interested in signing Kulusevski and have even made an enquiry.
Tottenham, however, are demanding €45 million (just under £38m) to sell him this summer.
The journalist said: “Napoli survey for Swedish striker Dejan Kulusevski. Tottenham’s request is €45 million.
“It remains to be seen whether the requests made will come down in the coming weeks.”
Kulusevski’s loan deal from Juventus was made permanent in the summer of 2023 and he signed a long-term contract then. That deal does not expire until the summer of 2028.

The one reason why Tottenham could be open to selling Kulusevski
Kulusevski is a fan favourite at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Spurs supporters have adored him since he joined the club all the way back in January 2022, and even though he has had his ups and downs, the fans have always had his back.
There have been several reports linking Kulusevski with a move from Tottenham this summer, which is a bit unusual as nobody was really expecting him to be sold.
However, when you look at his numbers, you could understand why Spurs would be open to selling him if the finances made sense.
In 96 appearances for Spurs, Kulusevski has only scored 15 goals and provided 19 assists. He managed more – 17 goals and 26 assists – when he was at Atalanta even though he played 41 fewer games.
We think Tottenham should keep the ‘outstanding‘ Kulusevski and try and get the best out of him. However, if a good offer arrives, we won’t be surprised to see Spurs cash in on him.
