Man Utd are reportedly set to adopt a bold design for their new away kit next season.

The new season might have only just started but Manchester United are reportedly finalising details of the away kit they will wear during the next campaign.

FootyHeadlines have teased early details of United's next away kit, claiming the club will adopt a brand new colour palette for the shirt, which supposedly takes inspiration from one of the club's most famous releases. The report claims United's next away kit will take inspiration from the famous 1990/92 away kit, which featured an iconic snowflake design.

If the early leak is to be believed, United's away kit for next season will also feature a bold new colour scheme for the first time in the club's illustrious history. They claim United's next Adidas release will be white and light lavender, combined with dark purple accents and detailing.

Adidas have already drawn inspiration from the 1990 away kit on a number of occasions since they began manufacturing United's shirts again, including on the current away design. The German manufacturers also paid homage to the iconic look in the 2015/16 third kit and the 2017/18 away kit.

United renewed their kit sponsorship with Adidas in a roughly £1 billion deal last year, the biggest kit deal in Premier League history. As part of the agreement, United are guaranteed a minimum of £90 million per year for 10 seasons, though it is understood they will be hit with a £10 million penalty every time they fail to qualify for the Champions League starting from next year.
